A co-worker and I were discussing knitting and crocheting. She mentioned people’s tendency to watch a crafter stitch or begin a conversation around the crafter’s efforts, especially on airplanes. Some stitchers are reluctant to take out their projects. That means hours not stitching.
Yes, I, too, have been the object of voyeurism while I crochet on the train, the New York subway. People like to watch. Just years ago was stitching on the trains and bus not as uncommon as it is today.
